I think it's an art deco design, though I'm not 100% sure. Still, it's a great-looking dress. And don't forget to use the other door.

Happy New Year
Written on the back, "Sylvester, 1955/56" I don't know if Sylvester is the name of the photographer or the last name of the woman in the photo. Whoever Sylvester was, we can be sure he or she didn't know on which side of midnight this photo was taken. Rather dressy for a home party. Printed on Agfa Brovira paper, so far more likely this was taken in Europe than the U.S.

It's Square Format Thursday!
How many times do I have to tell you people? There's no such thing as square format Thursday! So why did I buy these two snapshots? Well I've always liked the see my dress pose, she's good looking, and I liked all the elephants. But, is the old fashioned crank phone on the wall functional or just decorative? Looking at these two photos, I'm guessing the fifties, and I thought calling the operator and asking for a connection was a long gone thing by then.

Fancy Dress
No name or date. This one was part of a lot. Anyway, at first I thought of it as a throw in, the type of photo that gets thrown in a box and forgotten. But, after awhile, it grew on me.
