I wish I knew where this was taken.  The bluffs in the background could be Santa Monica, but I'm sure there are other beaches in the world with bluffs.

Well it's a colorful purse if nothing else.  Dated "MARCH 1961"  So Florida or Hawaii, maybe.  We may not get snow, in L.A., in March, but it's not exactly all summery dress and tropical drinks either.

And maybe the sea, too.  I bought this one here, in California, and there aren't that many places along our coastline that don't have some sort of bluff.  There are, however, more than a few flat and sandy spots out in the desert.  I live just north of downtown L.A. and I rarely get to the ocean. The traffic is a pain, and parking expensive.
