I'm 60 years old, and it occurs to me that I've never seen a poodle that hasn't been groomed in the weird way that people groom poodles. If left alone, are they all shaggy? Dated, "JUL 68"

Yes, they are hair balls if un-poodled. Actually quite cute. But usually the hair is quite curly and they end up matted.
