I can't imagine this postcard made people want to gamble. The four players look bored, the casino looks empty, and there is something a bit sinister about the lurker in the shadows. Definitely a false picture of a gambling casino! The man in the back is the only other customer and there are no drinks on the table and there are no cigarettes and smoke in the room.
